wow awesome !!!
well done really nice piece of work there
the only thing i find a little annoying are the 2-3 yellow scales on the centre of the body they look rather out of place but still an awesome awesome piece of work
:iconasanashia:
Thankyou very much! Those scales were intended to reflect some of the yellow light from the background, but yes, I agree, they do stick out. Thanks for critiquing!:highfive:

hmm i see what you mean with the reflection but tht seems odd as from your drawing it seems the light source is actually in the front of the picture so where would the light be coming from???
cool idea though

My jaw dropped when i saw this you have improved so much, WOW!!! i want to draw like you lol :+fav: for sure great job

It's gorgeous! Great job! You've improved so much that it's amazing.

The one thing that did really stick out to me as odd was the fact that the belly of the dragon became very thick very quickly and then thinned out too suddenly. Maybe try a more gradual process of narrowing out the body.

But really, it's an amazing piece. I especially love the shading on the wings.
:iconasanashia:
Aww thanks!!:blushes: I really appreciate that!

Well I thought that the light would reflect off the wings, but I think you're right- it is a bit of a stretch. That's what I get for not using any references in terms of lighting=P

Hmm interesting idea.
I am actually really interested in dragons (to a degree that most of my friends think i am mad) and i think that your idea may even be possible. yet the colour could not be quite so pronounced (thats the photographic side of me talking).
I am guessing that the colour would be due to
a. the wings
b. the colour of the walls.
so probably you would have a slight brown yello tinge #.
In history dragon wings have some times depicted reflection but only slight ones. this is probably due to the unique nature of scales (lizards or snakes are a good reference for thsi)
hope this helps
keep up the good work.
