The scanner washed some of the colors out
 Pooey to that~~I gave my hand a try at dynamic lighting here- my two light sources are from the top (the sky) and the bottom (the blue "walkway"). I also tried to grasp how light acts when it hits metal. I looked at a few things to give me an idea, then went from there. Still looks childish though Details were often too fine for a brush, so I used colored pencils and a mechanical pencil to help me out. Fullview!!! Advanced Critiques greatly welcomed! My Materials Battat Watercolors- palette of 10 colors Prismacolor colored pencils .5 HB Mechanical Pencil Canson Pastel Canvas (I'm out of watercolor canvas for the moment) A variety of brushes References Pose from "Dynamic Figure Drawing" used July 30, 2007 to August 2, 2007- about 15 hours |
